Please bring the following items with you to class:

 ­­­_____Your sewing machine (in good working order) with its power cord and foot control

_____Manual for your machine – We will be using the sections about Needle Placement, Bobbin Winding and Threading the Machine. You may bring this information in the form of a print out or digitally on your phone, but it must be readable.

_____Sewing Machine Needle – If you have needles we will use what you have or purchase size 90 needles.

_____Bobbin – an empty one that fits your machine

For the pillowcase project you will need:

Fabric:

Main Fabric ¾ yard (27” x width of fabric)

Cuff Fabric ¼ yard  (9” x width of fabric)

Trim Fabric 1/16 yard (2 ¼” x width of fabric)

Avoid directional fabric for this first project.

Spool of thread – Neutral color or color that matches the project fabrics.

Straight pins for pinning the project

Scissors for trimming threads.

Also bring a lunch or heavy snack and a drink.  We will take a lunch break, but not long enough to leave the building.
