This is a quilt made from one fabric and one shape pieces. It is easy to cut out and fun to put together. You can either bring your fabric to class or pick one out after I show you how to imagine what you will get. My quilt is 68” X 80” this maximized my use of fabric. My Border idea came from a gallery photo from One Block Wonder Quilts by Maxine Rosenthal at https://oneblockwonder.com/.
You will need to bring:
60* Ruler (60 degree)
Straight edge ruler
Pins – bring a lot! Flat head are highly recommended for part of the process, they don’t all need to be flathead.
Rotary Cutter – with new blade
Cutting mat
Mini iron and mat (optional)
¼” foot
Extra needles
Sewing machine and all the items that go along with it (bobbins, scissors, thread, etc.)
Fabric – you will need 6 repeats of your fabric
All supplies for the class are 10% off if purchased at Stitches.
You are welcome to bring a snack or lunch. There is a fridge and microwave you are welcome to use.
All students are required to have proficient knowledge of their sewing machine. We understand things happen, but you should be able to troubleshoot your machine and understand how everything works.
Before signing up for class, please check your schedule and read our class policy carefully. To be fair to our teachers and other students we must remain firm on our registration and cancellation policies.
